Firstly, if you haven't played the Road Rash series for the Sega Genesis, stop now and go play those somewhere, they are absolutely worth it. This one is the fifth game of the franchise and while it does justice to the old gameplay, the graphics are a little dulled and herky-jerky when compared to the previous versions. Just the same, this one is a fun play, with the same storyline as before. You are a street racer with a bike, on a mission to declare to the world that you are the best street racer there is. To do this, you race, and fight (sometimes with chains, bats, and other weapons!), other street racers in order to win and get more money to upgrade your bike. This version adds a cop mode that lets you bust other racers that is pretty cool. Just don't run out of money, or it's game over for you!
Controls:
Control Stick - Steer Cart left and right
A Button - Accelerate
B Button - Brake, (Reverse if used in conjunction with control stick)
Z Button - Uses Item
Left C - Camera left Button
Right C - Changes Onscreen Display
Up C - Changes Camera Position
Down C - Uses Item
R Button - Jump (Drift if used in conjunction with control stick)
L Button - Adjusts Background Music Volume
START Button - Pause the game
