In the first 3D installment of the Legend of Zelda series, players must help Link defeat the evil Gannondorf while traveling through time and battling through dungeons. That may sound like a standard tagline from a Legend of Zelda game, but this one turned out to be the masterwork of them all, setting the standard for countless adventure games to come. This version is the one released in Japan, complete with different missions and scenery, but really added to this site because there were no Z games released in North America for the Nintendo 64. What am I going to do, not have a Z page? Anyway, the unique controls and fun gameplay set it apart from other games on the market, and it's replay value is still just as high today as it was when it first came out. If you've never tried playing the Ocarina of Time before, you're in for a treat if you like adventuring games, as this one is sure to be among the top of your gaming list!
