Much like its predecessor Pokemon Stadium, Pokemon Stadium 2 was one of the best selling games for the Nintendo 64, but that doesn't mean it makes for the best digital conversion. The original idea here was that players could take their pokemon raised on their gameboy versions of Pokemon Gold, Silver, and Crystal, and see them in 3D color, battling the pokemon of friends using the gameboy conversion tool included with the game. That being said, a lot of the functionality of this game doesn't translate to rom versions even if they're in perfect working order, as most of the game needed interraction with its gameboy tools. But, the mini-game section is in great working order and has twelve new mini-games to explore.
Controls:
Control Stick - Steer Cart left and right
A Button - Accelerate
B Button - Brake, (Reverse if used in conjunction with control stick)
Z Button - Uses Item
Left C - Camera left Button
Right C - Changes Onscreen Display
Up C - Changes Camera Position
Down C - Uses Item
R Button - Jump (Drift if used in conjunction with control stick)
L Button - Adjusts Background Music Volume
START Button - Pause the game
