While groundbreaking and fun, this one is best viewed as a precursor for wrestling games to come from developer THQ. Most of the wrestlers featured in this game are fake, but there are 20 or so from WCW/nWo. There are various game modes like singles, tag team, and battle royale modes, but the meat of the game comes in a tournament game mode that supposedly involves 4 wrestling promotions. Two of the promotions are WCW and nWo, and two are made up but feature wrestlers recognizable from various international promotions under different names. If you win the tournament (featuring hidden wrestlers like Randy Savage and Diamond Dallas Page!), you take home not a championship belt, but a golden trophy. Hooray!
