THQ takes its grappling system to WWF to capitalize on the new winner of the Monday Night Wars!

THQ really steps up its game on the back of WCW/nWo Revenge, but uses it with its newly aquired WWF license just as the latter begins to win the infamous Monday night wars of wrestling! The result is a game that sells very well, and offers a ton of new features to the existing engine. Players can now utilize an extensive player creation mode, complete with customizable costumes and moves, and can engage in modes like King of the Ring, Royal Rumble, as well as a unique create a pay-per-view system where complete wrestling cards can be made! All this and more await you in this game, which I'd call a masterpiece, but it gets even better in THQ's next installment, WWF No Mercy!
